Our spaniel panics the moment you try to post a paw through anything, so a halter that fastens across the chest and hangs loose was the only style worth trying. She stood still for it and then went off and ate her dinner in it. The mesh under the satin keeps the skirt standing out so it actually looks like a dress.
The print is sharp and the ghosts and bats show up well against the black, better than I expected from a photograph. The orange satin bow at the waist worked its way loose during the evening and I ended up putting a stitch through it. Since then it has been perfect and the skirt still holds its shape.
I measured 46cm round the chest and 30cm along the back and the large came out exactly right, neck included. Having neck, chest and length published for all four sizes meant I did not have to guess, which is rare for this sort of thing. It sits level and does not twist when she walks.

Hand washed it cool as instructed and then made the mistake of squeezing the skirt to get the water out. It has not gone back quite as crisp as it was, so take the note about not wringing the mesh seriously. The satin bodice and the print are unaffected and still look new.
I expected something with a skirt to bother her and it did not. The whole dress is around two hundred grams and after five minutes she was asleep on the rug with the mesh fanned out behind her. It has been on three times now and the halter still sits flat across her chest.
The small is 23cm at the neck and 38cm at the chest, which is genuinely cat sized rather than a small dog size pretending.
