Keeping live jellyfish is genuinely difficult. They need a specialised circular tank with laminar flow, because a normal aquarium's corners and intakes will trap and destroy them, and they require live or specially prepared food several times a day alongside precise marine water parameters.
It is a serious undertaking rather than a beginner project, and jellyfish sold as easy pets frequently die within weeks. A sealed ornament gives the visual appeal with none of that, and there is no welfare question attached to it at all.
A closed unit containing liquid, artificial jellyfish and a small pump that keeps them circulating, lit from below by a colour cycling LED. The movement is what makes it convincing, since the jellyfish drift and turn rather than following a fixed path.
It is sealed, so it never needs topping up and there is nothing to maintain beyond charging it. That also means it cannot be opened for cleaning, so if the liquid ever clouds there is no remedy, and it is worth keeping out of direct sunlight, which is what causes that over time.
A twelve hundred milliamp hour cell charged over USB means it can run cordless for an evening, which is what makes it usable on a shelf away from a socket. Charge it fully before first use, and avoid running it flat repeatedly, since lithium cells last longer kept topped up than cycled to empty.
Keep it out of direct sun and away from radiators. Heat is what degrades both the cell and the liquid, and a lamp on a sunny windowsill will cloud and lose capacity considerably faster than one on a bookshelf. As a nightlight it is bright enough to be useful and dim enough not to keep anyone awake.

The LED base runs through its colours nicely but it moves on quicker than I would choose, and there is no way to hold it on one shade. I mostly leave it on the blue end of the cycle by switching it off when it lands there, which is a bit daft. Otherwise it does what it says.
There are two options and the one with the extra jellyfish is worth taking, because the standard looked a bit sparse in the photos. With more of them inside there is always one drifting past the front. My daughter has it on her desk and it has become a bedtime thing.
The 1200 mAh cell inside gets me through a full evening and then some before it goes back on the cable. It charges from the same USB brick as everything else in the house so there is nothing extra to find. The lead that comes with it is short though, so it charges down by the socket rather than up on the shelf.
